Helping small business owners, virtual assistants, and creative entrepreneurs grow their business.
Hi, I'm Tara! I'm a multi-passionate business and marketing coach.
One common complaint I hear from introverts when they are told to share more of themselves or their stories online is that they feel like their lives are too boring and no one will be interested in what they have to say. This couldn’t be further from the truth! In this episode, you’ll hear me tell a snippet of a story about spaghetti sauce, and my guest shares about the smart refrigerator her husband wanted. Neither of these stories are particularly personal or deep. What they have in common though, and what interests people, is that they are funny and relatable. In today’s episode, you’ll learn about why it’s so important to hook people in with stories to allow your business to grow with ease.

My guest today is Jennifer DeWitt, a website copywriter and storytelling expert. She supports female founders around the globe to craft value-centric, story-driven content. As a former librarian, Jennifer believes in the power of words, research, and storytelling. Now, she’s on a mission to help more business owners expand their impact by harnessing these tools. She’s here to help you sell without ever sounding sales-y. When Jennifer isn’t working, you’ll find her hanging out with family, sipping coffee, or with her nose buried in a book.
In this episode, Jennifer and I dive into:
What to do if you feel afraid of sharing your stories or feel like you don’t have anything to share
Whether pain point marketing is still the route you should go down when talking to your audience
Why it’s so important to build connections and strong relationships with other business owners
How to get your website to do more of the work for you
…and much more
