Canva
A lot of people automatically think of branded posts on social media when they hear the term “content creation.”
Canva is one of those apps that has amazing features. You can create e-books, Facebook posts, LinkedIn Banners, PDFs and just about anything else business-related that you could ever need.
If you are more skilled in design and content creation you can always use Adobe Photoshop, but you can think of Canva as the simpler route.
There’s a free version that is pretty useful but when you’re ready to make your content stand out just pay the $12.99 monthly fee for some awesome extras.
Pic Monkey
Pic Monkey is very similar to Canva. This one is just another option for creating cover photos and social media content.
The main difference is the fact that Pic Monkey is mainly used for social sites, so you will not be able to create e-books, business cards and the additional materials that Canva lets you create.
This app is used for those who want to edit photos of themselves and are looking to create a certain Instagram aesthetic. When you’re trying to find the best filter, this is the app to go to.
ConvertKit
Email marketing is an important part of every business. ConvertKit is a platform which allows you to send email blasts out to your subscribers.
Content creation in the form of email marketing and content writing let’s small business owners connect with their customers on a more direct basis.
You can create content in advance or hire a virtual assistant to write email sales content for you. If you think about your own personal inbox it’s probably filled with content from your favorite businesses.

Video is a huge part of digital marketing. Studies show that video marketing boosts engagement rates [aka likes, views, and comments] About half a billion people are viewing video content on Facebook according to this source.
It’s no surprise that apps like Animoto let you create your own short video clips to post on Facebook, Instagram, and any other social sites of your choosing.

Grammarly
This last tool is used to check your spelling and grammar. Now, this will not replace a proofreader or editor but you can use this app before you send emails, when writing blog posts, and social media captions.
Having less than perfect grammar looks tacky and does not put your business in the best spotlight. Always use an app like this to double-check before sending.
