1. Canva
This is an app that just keeps getting bigger and better. As a content creation app, you have the power from your phone or from your PC to create beautiful and engaging images that showcase everything from your storefront, to your product line to something that tickles your funny bone. With the ability to add graphics, fonts, and create even GIFs now that can help grow your engagement and your brand. There are paid features too when you get more adventurous in your creations.
2. Later
One of the many scheduling software, where if you get on a roll with Canva or Photoshop Express and create a whole file folder of content, that you can then schedule it out to follow your marketing plan, events happening you want to showcase and any specials you want to share with your audience. It is free but as it grows you can add more paid features to your account.
3. Adobe Photoshop Express
The powerhouse has been around – it is one of the OG of software when it comes to editing photos, adding text, and more to your images. Adobe has given you an option to download their Express product to do photo correction etc to upload to your scheduler or right to Instagram itself. There are more products you can pay for from them but if you are just getting started, this is step one.
4. Hootsuite
Another scheduling software – it has a phone app and the browser way to schedule. It allows you to do bulk uploads (again if you have a ton of content you want to share) and one-off posts. It has the ability to short link as well within the posts to links of product lines or anything that helps engage your followers. It is free up to 3 SM Accounts (Instagram, Twitter, FB, FB Groups and more are options) for 1 user and 30 preloaded posts total. If you find you are getting bigger than that, you can opt for paid features at that point.
5. AutoHash
Autohash is a Hashtag research program that takes your images and helps provide you with relevant hashtags. It will help you make sure you do ‘t go over the 30-hashtag limit, and you can save your favorite hashtags in the app. Once you’re ready to post, Autohash will save your selected hashtags to your clipboard, so all you have to do is paste them into your post.
