Hi, I'm Tara! I'm a multi-passionate business and marketing coach.
Coaching is a collaborative practice that allows participants to work towards shared goals while addressing individual needs and challenges. Group coaching programs are an awesome 1:many way to impact more people and scale your business. When it comes to where to host the community aspect, a lot of people think about Slack vs Voxer for client communication. Which is better?
Coaching programs offer an engaged audience that can make remote workers more comfortable with remote working practices, as well as a reliable source of feedback and constructive criticism. Whether you’re initiating your first group coaching program or looking to boost engagement in established group coaching programs, there are some specific strategies you should consider. Read on to learn more about the differences between Slack and Voxer when it comes to group coaching programs.
Group coaching programs are a way for organizations to harness the strengths of remote collaboration. With group coaching programs, teams can leverage the collective knowledge and expertise of participants.
Groups offer an engaged audience that can make remote workers more comfortable with remote working practices, as well as a reliable source of feedback and constructive criticism.
A Slack group coaching program is a way for an organization to create a space in which employees can share their thoughts with one another and work towards shared goals.
The basic function of a Slack group coaching program is to provide access to team members who might not have the chance to get together in person. With slack, conversations are organized into channels that enable team members to collaborate on projects.
Slack was created by two former Yahoo engineers who wanted a platform that would allow them to work more efficiently. While it’s primarily used as a communication tool for work, Slack provides features that are well-suited for coaching groups, including the ability for users to create channels with public or private content, group chat rooms, and a customizable homepage.
Slack isn’t just for team communication anymore!
Voxer is an audio messaging service that can be used by one person or an entire group. It has an interface very similar to other group chat applications like WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, and Skype. Users can talk to each other either in their normal voice or through the Voxer app through their computer’s microphone. This system is helpful for teams that want to communicate with their clients in different languages without needing expensive translation technology. With this approach, you can have your team members translate messages using Voxer themselves instead of having to rely on costly external translation services.
One of the biggest differences between Slack and Voxer is that Slack has an integrated conversation view, which allows users to see other team members’ messages as well as their own. With this feature, Slack’s users can quickly read and respond to other conversations happening in their channel at any given time. Voxer, on the other hand, only provides a record of all conversations that take place in a group chat. This means that there is no integrated conversation view for Voxer.
If you are looking for a group coaching platform that offers an integrated communication interface with remote teams, then you should probably choose Slack. However, if you are looking for a more holistic approach to learning about your team’s culture within your group coaching program, then Voxer might be the better option.
Slack is a free, web-based software application that allows group coaching programs to set up chat rooms for clients and coaches. It also offers a variety of features that make it easy for groups of people to stay connected, including message notifications and the ability to share files.
Voxer is an app that allows you to create virtual conferences on your phone or tablet. It provides a private voice-enabled video conference experience with screen sharing capabilities and customization options so your team can connect in the way that works best for them. Voxer also has integrations with online tools and services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Trello, Asana and more.
When it comes to Slack vs Voxer, it really comes down to the size of your group coaching program and what platform they are more familiar with. We want to provide an easy way for our group coaching program students to interact, engage, and get support. I always stuck with Slack for the community aspect of my group programs but am in the process of moving over to Heartbeat.
